Shop Trade Secrets
by James A Harvey
A Review - by James P Crombie
I have been working as a
machinist for the last 25 years. In that
time I have picked up a lot of little tips and tricks to
make my job easier. I have often wished that someone had
gathered them all into one place, well now its here.
James Harvey has put into one volume hundreds of commonsense
ideas for the machinist, be they a weekend hobbist or
the experienced tradesman.
There is lots of advice on workholding, cutters, tooling and
inspection. There are also some nice tips on machine setup
as well.
This is definetly a must have for every machinist's
library.
